Oracle Applications: Visibility of Internal Item Number on Sales Order
When using Item Cross References and entering a cross reference item on a sales order, for example a cross reference catalog number, where can you see the normal internal item number as confirmation you have pulled up the correct record?
Or, is it possible to change settings so the cross reference number entered automatically flips to the internal item number when you hit Tab or Enter?
We are planning to put product on the internet but want to use a simpler user friendly item numbering system in the form of catalog numbers, but need some quick & easy internal method of confirming the associated internal item number
Solution:
The internal item number is a hidden field in the sales order form. Use the Folder Tools to show the field.
